MOCA Health connects patients with independent practitioners specialising in medical cannabis care. All practitioners complete MOCA’s structured training program, covering international protocols, patient-specific dosing methods, and full TGA compliance to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred prescribing.
Through the secure Halaxy telehealth system, patients can book consultations, make payments, and complete intake forms online. Doctors review medical history in advance, allowing for focused and personalised appointments. The first consultation includes a 15-minute call, during which the practitioner reviews conditions, discusses treatment options, and, if suitable, initiates a prescription. The doctor then lodges a TGA Special Access Scheme (SAS) application, typically processed within 24–48 hours, after which the prescription is activated for dispensing.
Follow-up consultations are required for renewals, adjustments, and ongoing monitoring, with scripts valid for 6 months (THC) or 12 months (CBD). Once approved, patients access MOCA’s dispensing portal to review prescriptions, purchase medications, manage repeats, and download resources.
